Which colour is a given link in the chain?

Prep time: 5 minutes

Activity time: 10 minutes

Activity

In small groups, get each maker to choose a different coloured paper.

Tell your makers to cut their paper into strips and take turns adding a link to a chain to make a repeating pattern.

After five minutes, get the groups to swap their chains with another group, who must spot the pattern being used.
