Get started with the bbc micro:bit

Micro:bit has just launched a campaign to get a class kit of micro:bits into every primary school. Our workshop will give your students a fun way to get started!

I am a digital artist

Get everyone involved in making their own sea creature to appear in a collaborative underwater animation. Young people will learn how to use the paint editor in Scratch to make their own creations.

Design thinking

Design thinking is an established approach for creating user focused solutions. Our workshop will get young people working together to learn all about their audience and how to make cool products to suit their needs.

Physical computing

Get your teams building their own creative projects using the micro:bit micro controller. This introductory day will start with the basics and end with a fun showcase of your team designs!

Co-created artwork

This workshop is a chance for teams to create a small piece of digital art that will form a larger, art installation. The artwork can be themed to showcase the values of your organisation.

Take items from your office that are typically thrown away and turn them into a project or piece of art. There is no tech involved here, it is a purely unplugged adventure!
