Activity

Write your jokes and punchlines on separate pieces of paper.

Give each maker a piece of paper containing either a joke or a punchline.

The makers should walk around the room trying to find the other half of their joke.

Once makers have found their partner they can sit down together.

When all of the makers have found their partners, they should take it in turns to read out the complete jokes.

Build on this

This activity could be completed with four-line rhyming poems. Can makers assemble themselves into the right groups and recite the poem in the correct order?
