Kindness rocks

Create some kindness rocks.

Pebbles or small rocks

Felt pens

Prep time: 5 minutes

Activity time: 10 minutes

Activity

Ask each maker to find a small pebble (or leaves if these are easier to find) and give them some felt pens.

The makers should design kindness rocks to celebrate an achievement in computing. It could be fixing a bug, finishing a project, providing
feedback or something else.

Makers should keep the pebbles on their desks and give them to others during the rest of the session to pass the kindness on.

Build on this

Keep the kindness rocks for several weeks and encourage makers to look out for opportunities to pass forward their current rocks to other makers.
