Activity

Split your makers into four groups and get them to sing a musical round that they are familiar with, such as ‘Frère Jacques’.

The makers should decide what order they want to sing in.

The first maker sings the first line. When they have finished they move on to the second line and the next maker sings the first line.

This pattern continues until the last maker finishes the song.

Build on this

Ask makers to sing the song again, keeping the same order. This time it’s up to each maker when they want to start singing. The only rule is that they must not jump in before it is their turn.
